Our research is primarily focused on the sources and transport of nutrients (N, C, P) in watersheds and airsheds and their effect on aquatic ecosystems, especially at the coastal zone.
We are investigating the processes (i.e., natural and anthropogenic) that drive and influence elemental cycling (i.e., sources, transport, transformation and fate). This is done by conducting measurements in the field, running experiments in the laboratory, and developing and applying models.
The spatial scale of our studies ranges from measurements at centimeters to models at global scales. |
