Atmospheric and Oceanographic Forecasts from
July, 2001

One of the goals of the HyCODE and COMOP projects this summer is to improve both oceanographic and atmospheric forecast models. Our focus is on coastal ocean forecast models. During July of each year, we run an intensive data sampling experiment during which we generate forecasts every 12, 24, or 48 hours. Below you can view Atmospheric forecasts from the Coastal Ocean Atmospheric Model Prediction System (COAMPS), and the Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (RAMS). We also have ocean forecasts from the Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS) and the Modular Ocean Data Assimilation System (MODAS). Just click on them to see the forecast.
